How Long Grip Training: ~18 months
Current Grip Training Program: Recently I've been doing the
grippers once or twice a week, and been bending once or twice a week. When I do
grippers, I never know what I'm going to do till I start, maybe 5-10 singles
with a hard gripper or very high singles with a lesser gripper. I normally bend
grade 5's, with an occasional grade 8, (or try to) and do them till I miss then
go to 60d's till I miss. I've just started doing wrist curls and found they are
a lot harder than they appear to be. Throw in a little sledge work and maybe
some TTK if I get tired of tripping over it. I really just go by how I feel, and
how much I am pushed by Steve M.
Other Training Info: A couple times a week, I will do some curls with a
thick dumbbell, and some tricep work. I've got a lot of strongman stuff, log,
keg, rocks, tire, farmers but I don't fool with them a lot because I don't get
home in time most days. I also do some long bar bending; I find this is a
workout in itself.
